Equipment for Calibration of Survey Meters

This is an equipment for inspection and calibration of survey meters. It is equipped with a lifting table for adjusting the height of the survey meter and a moving platform for adjusting the position of the Cs-137 radiation source, allowing the survey meter to be checked at various dose rates. This equipment can also be used to obtain the calibration factor of each survey meter by comparing with the certificated survey meter by a manufacturer. Radiation workers in Osaka University can use this equipment for inspection and calibration of their own survey meters.
